Yale NewHaven Health in New London, CT, is seeking a Behavioral Health support role to provide therapeutic communication and patient observation under RN supervision.
The position involves taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, documenting responses, and contributing to safety and quality efforts within the unit. An Associates Degree in human services or related field is required, with a Bachelor's preferred; BLS is required.

Performs therapeutic communication and interventions with psychiatric patients. Observes the condition of the patient and communicates with the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis concerning the patient's behavior. Reports any unusual situation or incidents observed. Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
