REHABILITATION COUNSELOR - LA CASA MHRC

La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is a 192-bed facility providing assistance to adults 18 and older.

Shifts Available:

On Call; Shift hours and days vary as needed.

Starting minimum wage is $21, with geographic differentials applied based on location. Pay is commensurate with relevant experience.

Position Objective

The Mental Health Worker I performs various duties on the inpatient unit involving patient management and care under the guidance of MHW II staff.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience working with the severely and persistently mentally ill population is required, or current enrollment in a related program. High school diploma or G.E.D. and CPR certification are also required. Skills include knowledge of mental health care, ability to interact with healthcare team, patients, families, and visitors, and proficiency in English. Department of Justice clearance is mandatory.
