Job summary

Abraxas Youth & Family Services in Marienville, PA seeks a Mental Health Specialist to supervise and support at-risk youth within a therapeutic setting. You will collaborate with the Educational team and Mental Health Therapist to implement individualized plans and document progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related area is required.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance, mentoring, and support to at-risk youth.
• Collaborate with Educational team and Mental Health Therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Document client treatment interventions, behavior, and progress.
• Observe client behavior and intervene per policy and treatment plan.
• Demonstrate Safe Crisis Management techniques as appropriate.
