Gracie Square Hospital in New York City seeks a part-time Mental Health Worker for the Dual Focus Unit during evening shifts (3:30pm–12am). You will observe and document patient behaviors, support care teams, and help with daily activities to promote recovery.

This role emphasizes compassionate interaction, safety, and collaboration with nursing staff, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships and facilitating meaningful progress toward well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent Communication Skills.

Mental Health Worker - Dual Focus Unit - Part Time Evenings

As a Mental Health Worker, you’ll be the eyes and ears of our dedicated care team—observing and documenting patients’ physical, emotional, and social behaviors, and reporting key insights to the nursing staff. You’ll build therapeutic relationships, provide expert support during moments of anxiety, and assist patients with daily activities that promote healing and independence. This is a part time,evening shift position (3:30pm - 12am), includes working rotating weekends.

Required Criteria:
