Job summary

Outcome HealthCare currently seeks a Mental Health Worker to support individuals with mental or emotional conditions under supervision. You will escort patients to appointments, help with meals, and assist in daily activities while reporting observations to staff.

Strong English communication and a current BLS certification are required; prior experience in psychiatric or substance abuse settings is preferred. PTO, health benefits, and transportation support are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required for all duties.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) preferred/required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to individuals with mental or emotional conditions under supervision of nurses and physicians.
• Escort patients to on- and off-site appointments as needed.
• Maintain order and discipline within the institution and grounds.
• Lead groups of patients and participate in patient engagement activities.
• Assist in serving meals and supporting daily activities.
• Document observations and report unusual behavior to medical staff.
