Job summary

Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, INC. seeks a Family-Based Mental Health Worker to partner with families in homes and communities, supporting children and adolescents through skill-building and strong family connections.

You will join a two-person treatment team, working non-traditional hours on a full-time basis, with comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field
  • One year of experience with children/adolescents
  • Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance, PA State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Background Clearance, ACT 31 Mandated Reporter Training

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children, adolescents, and families in their homes and communities.
  • Help families develop skills and support needed to thrive.
  • Provide compassionate, client-centered services within a two-person treatment team.
  • Maintain flexibility to meet families on their schedule and in their community environments

Position: Family-Based Mental Health Worker

Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible Non-Traditional Hours

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in a Mental Health or Human Services field

Experience Required: Minimum one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or families

Competitive Pay & Incentives

  • Starting wage of $19.00 per hour
