Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a licensed master’s level behavioral health clinician to serve as Mental Health Unit Coordinator at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, MA. This full-time, day-shift role oversees mental health services for incarcerated individuals and guides a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed, Master's level behavioral health clinician able to assess and provide mental health treatment.
• License: LICSW or LMHC.

Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed.
• Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for identification, assessment and provision of required clinical services for inmates.
• Supervises planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
• Provides clinical supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
• Monitors efforts of Mental Health Services to ensure timely, professional care.
• Ensures contracted programs are integrated and appropriately staffed.
• Provides administrative support to psychiatric staff and assists coordinators in recruitment and selection of clinical staff.
• Coordinates facility behavioral health Quality Improvement Program.
