Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies in Shirley, MA seeks a Full-Time Mental Health Coordinator to lead behavioral health services in MA DOC Secure Treatment Units. You will coordinate clinical and administrative supervision, ensure NCCHC/ACA standards, and work with Medical Director and Psychiatrist to align contract services.

Requirements: Master's in Psychology or Social Work, active LICSW or LMHC license in MA, fluent English, teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English language, including reading and writing.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state (LICSW or LMHC required).

Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution.
• Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for identification, assessment, and provision of clinical services for inmates in Secure Treatment Units.
• Supervises the planning, development and implementation of contracted treatment programs.
• Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to Behavioral Health Services staff within Secure Treatment Units.
• Monitors efforts to ensure timely, professional clinical services.
• Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
• Delivers direct clinical services including individual and group treatment and crisis intervention.
• Ensures programs are integrated and appropriately staffed.
• Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
• Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
• Attends training and meetings as required.
• Maintains proficiency with EHR and clinical documentation systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
