Qualifications

Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist Team Leader to be part of our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Sylva, NC.

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The ACTT Team Leader oversees and directs the ACTT service, a self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe psychiatric illnesses. The ACTT Team Leader supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful, recovery-oriented services to program clients. The ACTT Team Leader also functions as a practicing clinician on the team.

What We're Looking For:
  • Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) required
  • 2 years clinical social work experience preferred
  • LCMHC-S or a different license that includes the certification of qualified supervisor required
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus
