Hands on Health Associates LLC is looking for a full-time Mental Health Therapist in New York, NY. This outpatient program provides mental health and substance abuse services, requiring the therapist to diagnose psychological disorders and guide clients through their recovery process.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant licensure and a minimum of one year’s experience in an OMH/OASAS environment, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in OMH/OASAS environment is required.
• Familiarity with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments.
• Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children.
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Use evidence-based treatment methods for group and individual treatments.

Job Summary

Hands On Health Associates, LLC is an outpatient Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Treatment program located in Brooklyn, NY looking for a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) who will provide mental health and substance abuse services to clients to enhance their recovery. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises.
