Job summary

Calmify Wellness Center in Henderson, NV seeks compassionate postgraduate Mental Health Therapist Interns to join the clinical team. This on-site contract role offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling and supervised psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

You will develop clinical skills toward independent licensure, with supervision, assessments, and evidence-based approaches in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Completed master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or equivalent.
• Active Nevada intern credential for CPC, MFT, or CSW-I.
• Supervised clinical experience and ability to obtain required approvals.
• Knowledge of Nevada Medicaid enrollment requirements.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical, culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

Role Description

Calmify Wellness Center is seeking compassionate, motivated Postgraduate Mental Health Therapist Interns to join our growing clinical team in Henderson, Nevada.

This is an on-site, contract opportunity offering flexible full-time and part-time scheduling options.

As part of our clinical team, you'll provide supervised psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families while continuing to develop your clinical skills and work toward independent licensure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy within your authorized scope of practice.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Apply evidence-informed therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Establish meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues and approved clinical supervisors to support quality care.
• Participate in required supervision, clinical consultations, and team meetings.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with Nevada regulations and agency policies.

Required Qualifications

• Completed master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or another qualifying clinical discipline.
• Active Nevada CPC-Intern, MFT-Intern, or Clinical Social Worker Intern (CSW-I) credential.
• Established, Board-approved primary clinical supervision arrangement and ability to obtain any additional required practice-site or supervision approvals.
• Nevada Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to complete applicable enrollment and group-affiliation requirements before providing Medicaid-covered services.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, culturally responsive care, and professional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, or families.
• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Motivation to develop professionally and build a rewarding clinical career.

Please Note: This opportunity is specifically for credentialed postgraduate therapist interns working toward independent clinical licensure in Nevada. Graduate practicum students and bachelor's-level applicants are not eligible.
