Job description

Mental Health Therapist (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, or LCPC) Outpatient

Join our team as a full-time Mental Health Therapist at our Columbia Outpatient Program. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $87,000 annually, based on licensure, education, and experience, along with a $5,000 signing bonus. Our office operates from 9 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide treatment services within a multidisciplinary team according to the Discovery Clinical Model.
  • Ensure patient safety and deliver milieu interventions.
  • Lead psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, individual, and family therapy sessions.
  • Complete clinical documentation timely.
  • Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
  • Manage a caseload of 10-15 patients and facilitate admission assessments.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and communicate treatment goals.
  • Manage crises effectively and collaborate with the treatment team.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
  • Active clinical license in Maryland or operating under supervision.
  • Completion of state requirements for therapeutic interventions.
  • Obtain CPI, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
