Mental Health Therapist Internship

Location: Attleboro, MA

Pay: $15/hour

Hiring for Fall 2026.

Role Description

• Conduct psychosocial assessments under master’s level supervision and transcribe or dictate relevant information for client records.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapies and crisis interventions using various treatment modalities.
• Engage in mental‑health consultation and collaboration with stakeholders and treatment team members.
• Develop individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a master’s level clinician/supervisor.
• Maintain current, adequate medical record documentation in the electronic medical record of the person served.
• Attend regular staff meetings, clinical meetings, training, and one‑on‑one sessions with the direct supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related degree that will lead to licensure in counseling or marriage and family therapy.
• Completion and proof of a Master’s level practicum.
• Previous experience working with children/adolescents (in a clinical or mental health setting preferred).
• Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
