Job summary

WellPower in Denver, CO is seeking a Mental Health Therapist II (Master's Level) to deliver diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy within a continuum of services. You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and document clinically in accordance with WellPower standards.

This hybrid, 8am–5pm role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed care to support recovery and community functioning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual and/or group psychotherapy.
• Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated.
• Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve.
• Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards.
• Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required.
• Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Mental Health Therapist provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services within a continuum of high to low intensity services designed to improve or maintain each mental health consumer's abilities to function in the community. Assesses, monitors, and follows up with consumer's ability to meet basic needs in moving toward recovery. Responsible for all clinical documentation of consumer interaction.

• Mental Health Therapist II (Master's Level) - $31.25/hour - $65,000/year
• LAC Differential - $1.00
• Language Differential - $1-$2.50/hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required.
• Licensed or within 6 months of licensure preferred
• 1 to 2 years of experience in mental health or human services preferred

Shift/Hours:

• 8am – 5pm Mon – Fri, Hybrid

Physical Requirements:

• Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 40 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment
