Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities - Office of Mental Health seeks a Mental Health Therapist to deliver MDFT-based care to children, adolescents, and families in Charleston, serving in home, school, and community settings.

Under limited supervision, provide evidence-based interventions, document care, and collaborate with the Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center and community partners to promote youth wellness and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for licensure eligibility or equivalent.
• Experience applying evidence-based therapies in clinical settings is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with families and community systems to support youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDFT-based direct clinical services
• Deliver family therapy using MDFT model
• Document care and maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with Center and community partners
• Ensure timely response to service requests and maintain QA
• Complete MDFT training and certifications as required
• Participate in mandatory trainings and policy compliance
