Job summary

The position requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field, Kentucky licensure or eligibility, and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Must be licensed or license-eligible in Kentucky (CSW, LPCA, LPA, MFTA, etc.).
• Must meet supervised practice requirements and participate in supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
• No malpractice history or board sanctions; background checks required.
• Ability to work independently with scheduling and workload management.
• Experience with severe mental illness, emotional disturbances, and/or substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and psychotherapy to individuals in clinic, community, or home settings.
• Deliver individual, family, group therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Participate in intake, referral, orientation, and engagement activities.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and external partners to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in crisis response under supervision and contribute to safety planning.
• Develop and update person-centered recovery treatment plans.
