Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

The Role:

We seek a warm, licensed, neurodiversity-affirming mental health therapist to join us as a contractor. You will provide ongoing therapy to adult clients and support our diagnosing psychologists during autism evaluations. This role is remote, flexible, and part of a collaborative clinical team.

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct clinical interviews and psychosocial assessments for autism evaluations
  • Provide individual therapy to neurodivergent adults, including those exploring or newly diagnosed with autism
  • Use evidence-based, affirming, and strengths-focused approaches to support emotional wellness and identity development
  • Build trusting, long-term therapeutic relationships
  • Maintain clinical documentation and treatment plans according to standards
  • Utilize structured tools, behavioral observations, and client narratives for comprehensive understanding
  • Document findings promptly and effectively
  • Participate in case consultations and feedback sessions
  • Communicate with care, clarity, and cultural humility
What We’re Looking For:
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or related field
  • Active independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) in at least one U.S. state
  • Compassionate, open-minded, culturally responsive approach
  • Experience with neurodivergent adults, especially autism, ADHD, anxiety
  • Strong clinical interview and assessment skills
  • Comfort with telehealth and digital documentation
  • Respectful, affirming attitude towards neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ clients, and marginalized groups
  • Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented
Nice to Have:
  • Multi-state licensure (PSYPACT a plus)
  • Experience with gender-diverse and LGBTQ+ populations
  • Knowledge of co-occurring conditions (ADHD, anxiety)
  • Familiarity with autism diagnostic tools/frameworks (e.g., MIGDAS-2, SRS-2, SCQ)
