Job summary

The Mental Health Therapist at MultiCare is responsible for delivering clinical counseling and case management within the Expanded Community Services program. This role supports adults with complex behavioral health needs in AFHs across Pierce County, partnering with caregivers to improve quality of life.

The position is full-time, day shifts, Monday–Friday with a 90-day probationary period. A Bachelor's in a behavioral health field is required, and state credentials may be pursued after hire;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field required.
• Washington State ACCR credential must be applied for within 30 days of hire; various credentials accepted.
• Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred.
• Driving is an essential function of this position; valid license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy and case management for patients.
• Develop treatment plans identifying patient voice and outcome measures.
• Meet agency documentation standards and contract requirements.
• Tailor clinical/case management services to meet diverse patient needs.
