About the Company:

Octave is a modern behavioral health practice creating a new standard for care delivery that’s both high-quality and accessible. With in-person and virtual clinics in multiple states, the company offers evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy, while pioneering relationships with payers to make care more affordable through insurance. By raising the bar on how care is delivered and how providers are supported, we are building a sustainable system that values equity, affordability, and effectiveness.

About the Role:

Octave is hiring Licensed Clinicians to provide high-quality behavioral health care to our clients within an organizational structure. Clinicians will join a diverse clinical team, delivering therapy in a collaborative, client-centered environment. Candidates must be licensed in Colorado at the master's or doctoral level, experienced in evidence-based therapies like CBT or DBT, and skilled in culturally responsive care. The role involves treating adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies.

Clinicians should be willing to work both in-person and remotely, with an existing office space required to start. You can see clients virtually or in-person, provided you have a suitable commercial space for in-person sessions. Currently, no office space is provided by Octave within Colorado. You may see clients from your home office or commercial space.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Passionate about expanding access to high-quality mental health care.
  • Experienced in providing short-term, evidence-based therapies to diverse adult clients.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining therapeutic alliances.
  • Willing to use standardized measures for feedback-informed care.
  • Culturally responsive and competent in care delivery.
  • Open to continuous learning and feedback.
  • Thrives in a culture of transparency and thoughtful feedback.
Qualifications:
  • LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD
  • Current license and residency in Colorado.
  • Experience with payor relationships may affect employment eligibility.
  • Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the licensing board.
  • Minimum of 1 year post-license clinical experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Experience with CBT, DBT, Unified Protocol, CPT, or PE for trauma is preferred.
  • Experience working with Cigna & Aetna clients is a plus.
  • Owns a suitable office space and is willing to provide in-person services in Denver, Centennial, or Aurora areas.
Values:

Our company values include empathy, innovation, collaboration, quality, progress, and understanding individual impacts beyond data points.

Physical & System Requirements:

Prolonged sitting, communication via virtual platforms, ability to observe and communicate information, occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. System requirements include Mac or Windows OS, recent security updates, and unmanaged devices; iOS, Android, or ChromeOS devices are unsupported as primary devices.

Compensation:

Hourly rates depend on licensure and whether services are in-person or virtual. In-person: $110-$118/hr (master’s), $118-$123/hr (doctoral). Virtual: $107-$115/hr (master’s), $115-$120/hr (doctoral). Exact pay depends on experience, education, location, and market conditions.
