Position Summary:
The schedule for this position is 10am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
The Mental Health Therapist is critical to the success of the Children’s Wisconsin’s Mental and Behavioral Health strategy by increasing Access, reducing Stigma, engaging in Early Detection, Prevention and Education. Provides individual, group, and family therapy to children and their families in an outpatient clinic setting, using evidence based/informed, trauma informed, and inclusive practices. Actively engages the child, their family, and caregivers in treatment and recovery planning. Provides consultation, education, and outreach to colleagues, trainees, and community. Participates in activities and initiatives related to the MBH strategy.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Mental Health Therapist in the Connections Clinic uses specific protocols to address the patient's presenting concern, seeing them in a total for approximately 8 weeks. Additionally, the Mental Health Therapist may conduct Mental Health Triage appointments. These one time appointments help navigate a family to the most beneficial services for their child.
