A mae Health in San Mateo, CA, is seeking an on-site Mental Health Therapist to deliver personalized, compassionate, high-quality care to adults with serious mental illness. You will provide individual and group therapy, work within a coordinated care team, and support recovery using evidence-based approaches.

The role requires active CA licensure (psychologist, LCSW, AMFT or LPCC) and strong collaboration skills.

Competenze

• Active licensed clinician in CA (psychologist, LCSW, AMFT, or LPCC) with onsite supervision for limited permits

Severe mental illness affects over 15 million adults in the United States. Schizophrenia. Schizoaffective disorder. Bipolar I. Treatment-resistant depression. These are the conditions the rest of healthcare has systematically failed to build for.

What makes this problem different from most of healthcare is that the tools to solve it do not exist. The clinical protocols, the measurement science, the precision medicine, the technology to deliver coordinated longitudinal outpatient care for this population. None of it has been built. The Role

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and review them as clinic needs arise. This onsite Mental Health Therapist role at our San Mateo clinic is central to delivering personalized, compassionate, high-quality care to individuals with serious mental illness (SMI).

What You Will Work On

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
• Provide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtually
• Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model
• Collaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
• Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health
• Provide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, including licensed therapists and trainees; assist with program development

What You'll Have

• Active Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, AMFT, or LPCC license in the state of CA; onsite supervision for limited permits available
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionals
• Experience and interest in working with adults and at least 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness
• Experience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MI
• Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism
• Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards
• Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new tools and technologies
• Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities

Amae Health is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $125,000 per yearbased on a full-time schedule.
