Amae Health in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our upcoming clinic. You will provide individual and group therapy to adults with severe mental illness, work within a coordinated, wrap-around care model, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver integrated treatment.

The role requires an active CA license (Psychologist, LMSW, AMFT, or LPC) with on-site supervision for limited permits. We offer a base salary of $75,000-$115,000 plus bonus and benefits.

These are the conditions the rest of healthcare has systematically failed to build for. What makes this problem different from most of healthcare is that the tools to solve it do not exist. The Role

We are hiring a Mental Health Therapist for our Long Beach, CA clinic (opening soon). Onsite supervision for limited permits is available.

What You Will Work On

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
• Provide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtually
• Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model
• Collaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
• Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health
• Provide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, including licensed therapists and trainees; assist with program development

What You'll Have

• Active Licensed Psychologist, LMSW, AMFT, or LPC license in the state of CA; onsite supervision for limited permits available
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionals
• Experience and interest in working with adults and at least 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness
• Experience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MI
• Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism
• Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards
• Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new tools and technologies
• Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities

Base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $115,000 per year (full-time schedule) + performance-based bonus opportunity.
