As a therapist, you will provide support through counseling, lead therapy groups, and conduct workshops to empower the community. Your work will foster a supportive environment for students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical services including assessments, counseling, classroom observations, and crisis intervention.
• Lead therapy groups and community education based on community needs.
• Conduct outreach and act as a consultant to schools and community partners.
• Maintain compliance with contracts, documentation, and ethical standards.
• Participate in supervision and consultation to improve service quality.
• Represent EveryMind professionally and respectfully.

Supervision: No supervision required; may supervise volunteers.
Reporting to: Manager, Program.

Qualifications:

• High resilience and stable mental health.
• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work; Maryland licensure (LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW-C, LGMFT, LCMFT).
• At least 1 year post-licensure experience preferred; bilingual Spanish required for some roles.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Physical and Emotional Demands: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and maintaining confidentiality. Due to content sensitivity, recent trauma or suicidality history may be a concern.

Clearance: Criminal background check; possible additional checks.

Work Conditions: Mostly on-site with some remote work possible; travel required. Availability during core hours (9-5 M-F) with flexibility.
