Mental Health Therapist

Located in Provo, Utah

Oasis Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers in Provo, Utah. We serve families in crisis, providing assessment, secure care, and intensive support for young men. Our goal is to stabilize adolescents, involve licensed clinicians, and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adolescents
• Provide individual and family therapy
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Document all services accurately
• Assess emotional, behavioral, and mental states
• Create psycho-social histories and treatment plans
• Coordinate care and participate in team meetings
• Work collaboratively with residential staff
• Participate in marketing activities and travel as needed
• Build relationships with referring professionals

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a mental health field
• 2+ years clinical experience
• Licensed with Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL)
• Unrestricted license in good standing
• Ability to pass background, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
• First Aid & CPR certified (may be provided)
• Crisis intervention certification (may be provided)
