Husk is in search of a full time Mental Health Therapist licensed in Pennsylvania. You will report to the Sr. Mental Health Therapist. Husk provides cost effective health and wellness solutions to employer groups including fitness, mindfulness and nutrition and access to mental health is in high demand. You will be responsible for meeting with clients virtually, one on one. Provide initial evaluations and ongoing therapy. Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals and monitor progress. Adhere to all standards of contract compliance, policies and procedures, and all other regulatory requirements. Complete continuing education courses to maintain licensure and stay up-to-date on the latest practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide one on one virtual psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families weekly.
- Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments for each client seen.
- Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies to work through problems in a healthy manner. Encourage clients to express their feelings and to discuss what is happening in their lives and help them develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
- Create treatment plans with clients using SMART goals.
- Document all sessions in an electronic medical record, and stay up to date on documentation, as per company policy.
- Meet insurance requirements for qualitative and quantitative documentation. Includes writing progress notes, treatment plans, intake assessments, correspondence regarding clients.
- Comply with HIPAA Privacy law.
- Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the needs of the clients.
- Respond to all referrals in a timely and professional manner and follow-up on referrals made on behalf of an individual / family, recognizing the need for effective collaboration in order to ensure the highest levels of service both internally with Husk and externally.
Requirements
- Masters Degree from an accredited University in Social Work, Psychology, or a field equivalent that allows for the independent practice of psychotherapy.
- Full independent licensure : LMHC, LPC, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT
- Preferred candidate will be licensed in Georgia and in network with major health insurance carriers
- 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, adults, couples, families and / or groups Required.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of therapeutic modalities and how to apply them in therapy. CBT, ACT, DBT, and Solution Focused Therapy preferred.
- Background working with depression and anxiety preferred.
- Demonstrated competency working with a diverse population.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Independently credentialed with major health carriers preferred.
