Job summary

Northeast Treatment Centers in Philadelphia is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide intake evaluation, individual, family, collateral, and group therapy.

You will attend case conferences, document sessions in Credible EHR, maintain client charts, and collaborate with clients and families to update treatment plans. Frequent travel for community outreach is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• Must enjoy working with children and adolescents and designated families.
• Must demonstrate fondness and respect for children, adolescents, adults and families.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Attend case conferences and supervision sessions.
• Document sessions using the Credible EHR.
• Maintain and update client demographic information in charts.
• Evaluate client progress and develop treatment plans with clients and families.
• Frequent travel in the community to conduct client outreach.

Job description

Mental Health Therapist participates in Intake Evaluation, Individual, Family, Collateral, and Group Therapy sessions.

• Attends Case Conferences and Supervision sessions
• Documents sessions using the Electronic Health Record, Credible
• Maintains and updates client demographic information in client chart
• Evaluates client’s progress regularly
• Creates/updates Treatment Plans in collaboration with client & client’s family
• Maintains and keeps current all required consent forms.

Amount of Travel/Special conditions: Frequent travel in the community to conduct client outreach. Transportation of clients in company vehicle as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or in a related field required.
• Must enjoy working with children and adolescents and designated families
• Must demonstrate a genuine fondness and respect for children, adolescents, adults and families
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members.
