Job summary

LIGHT-TUNNEL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERV in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate, licensed psychotherapist to join our outpatient practice. The role offers flexible scheduling, hybrid/in-person options in New Haven and per-session or salaried models.

You will conduct individual and group psychotherapy for mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Connecticut clinical license required (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting preferred.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical writing, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, intake assessments, and diagnostic formulations.
• Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic) to individual patients and/or families.
• Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation within the EMR system in accordance with state guidelines and practice standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure holistic care coordination.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Psychotherapist based in Connecticut to join our outpatient behavioral health practice. In this role, you will provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy to a diverse patient population presenting with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, intake assessments, and diagnostic formulations.
