POSITION SUMMARY
Full-Time paid position with benefits for ASW, AMFT, or APCC intern (post-Master's degree) with BBS registration number. This is primarily a field-based position working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in collaboration with multidisciplinary team of therapists, case managers, counselors, medical staff, and psychiatrists. Conduct assessments, psychotherapy, some case management services. Prior knowledge of DMH paperwork strongly preferred. Supervision hours for licensure will be provided. EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, and a registered Intern with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (in California).
EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in providing substance abuse and/or mental health services, working with youth and/or families in a mental health setting, and prior experience with DMH documentation, although not mandatory, is preferred.
