Position Title: Clinical Supervisor
Department: Youth Services
Reports To: Program Director / Clinical Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supervising substance use counselors in our Juvenile Justice program. Provide direct service as needed, including individual, couple/family or group psychotherapy, consultations, and crisis intervention. Implement the treatment philosophy of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC). Reports to the Program Director for administrative activities, and to the Clinical Director for clinical matters, unless the immediate supervisor is a licensed mental health professional. Will provide clinical supervision and support to a team of substance use counselors who are providing SUD services with incarcerated youth at the Barry J. Nidorff Juvenile Detention Center and to SUD counselors working with Tarzana Treatment Center's youth outpatient program. Employee will operate out of both TTC's youth outpatient office in Tarzana and the Barry J Nidorff Juvenile Hall in Sylmar.

EDUCATION
A Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or social science. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW, MFT, or LPCC.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one (1) year experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis. Prior supervisory experience.
