Job summary

Curis Functional Health, LLC. seeks a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our Dallas-based multidisciplinary team.

You will assess clients, provide individual, group, and family therapy, and collaborate with chiropractors, nutritionists, and other clinicians to deliver integrated care. The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology and current state licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Current state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Passion to learn functional medicine principles and holistic approach to mental health.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Employ a holistic approach to mental health, integrating physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors into treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, nutritionists, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, wellness practices, and self-care techniques.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and integrate new approaches into your practice.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities.

Position Overview:
