About the Job:

The Therapist is a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients and their families. Key responsibilities include completing Psychosocial Assessments, providing individual, group, and family therapy, facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, discharge planning, assisting in program development, developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans, and providing linkage to outside resources.

Position Details:

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Compensation: $28 - $33/hour, based on experience; shift differentials on Saturday & Sunday

Shift: 4, 10-hour shifts

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessments; coordinate additional services as needed, revising plans as necessary.
• Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning conferences; present patient information and recommend treatment interventions.
• Maintain a caseload as assigned.
• Develop and implement specialized patient groups or program modules.
• Prepare timely progress notes and treatment updates; ensure all clinical documentation complies with standards.
• Ensure each patient has a structured post-hospitalization care plan; act as liaison to referral sources for continuation of care.
• Provide crisis intervention for patients and families in distress.
• Coordinate community resources including financial, housing, legal, social, recreational, occupational, spiritual, and support groups.
• Perform case management, discharge, or aftercare planning as needed.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• At least one year of experience as a therapist with all age groups.
