Job summary

Jobtailor in North Dakota seeks a licensed clinician to create a trauma-informed environment and deliver youth- and family-focused therapy. You will collaborate with youth, families, and treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, participate in crisis response, and ensure timely documentation.

Strong cultural competence and DHS background check are required; a valid driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or clinically related field.
  • Licensure required: LPC, LPCC, MSW, or LMFT.
  • Must pass DHS criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their needs.
  • Open to meeting cultural needs of language, traditions, and values.
  • Nice to have: experience with at-risk youth and families facing mental/behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive a trauma-informed environment.
  • Collaborate with youth, family, and team to develop an Individual and Family Treatment Plan.

  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation and client reports according to policy and regulations.

Job description


  • Creates and drives a trauma-informed environment

  • Collaboration with youth and family and team to develop an Individual and Family Treatment Plan

  • Provide individualized, youth-focused, strength and evidenced-based family and individual therapy models with youth, their families and foster families.

  • Participate in all treatment team meetings and coordinate quarterly CFTM (child and family team meetings)

  • Participate in needed crisis responses

  • Coordinate/communicate aftercare needs of the client with family and all necessary social service and community providers to ensure a smooth transition

  • Work with team member of the treatment team to engage all desired and necessary family members, educational, legal, community, and social service providers (as well as all-natural supports that the youth and family identify) to gather all necessary information to inform and support the treatment process

  • Ensures that all required client reports, records, and all documentation are produced accurately and maintained in a consistent, timely, and professional manner according to policy and regulated statutes

  • Recognize and value cultural differences in all aspects of work and service delivery


Requirements


  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or clinically related field

  • Licensure required LPC, LPCC, MSW, or LMFT

  • Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check.

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challenges.
