The position requires a Master’s in Mental Health and an active state license (LCPC, LGSW, LGPC, LCSW). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid quarterly, contingent on continued good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and identify treatment needs.

• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans to promote client-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency policies on care and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Mental Health Therapist plays a vital role in empowering individuals to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Through comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations, the therapist identifies each client's unique needs and develops individualized treatment plans. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other clinically appropriate interventions, the therapist provides compassionate, client-centered care that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting positive change.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning and identify treatment needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy services in accordance with COMAR regulations, maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in ICANotes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment strategies and clinical processes to promote high-quality, client-centered care.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with all applicable COMAR regulations, HIPAA requirements, and agency policies governing client care, documentation, and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
