Job summary

SpectraCare Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Technician II for the Webb Group Home in Webb, Alabama. The role follows a 12-hour Pitman schedule from 7am to 7pm, across Weeks I and II as listed in the ad.

You will support residents with daily activities, teach basic living skills, and assist with medications under nurse supervision, using MAC certification when required. Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED, 21+ age, clean MVR, and successful background checks and drug

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass background checks.
• CPR and MAC certification are required upon hire.
• Experience in mental health or substance abuse care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and meal preparation to meet consumer needs.
• Teach group and individual basic living skills.
• Provide transportation using the program vehicle when needed.
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility.
• Assist with medication under nurse supervision using MAC certification.
• Complete required documentation in the electronic health record system.

Mental Health Technician II - Webb Group Home

This position will be located at our Webb Group Home in Webb, Alabama

12 HOUR PITMAN SCHEDULE 7am - 7pm

WEEK I: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY

WEEK II: MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

Responsibilities:

• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
