*Responsibilities include:*

• Assisting patients in developing self-expression and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.
• Helping patients acknowledge and accept responsibility for their psychological and behavioral patterns through feedback and reinforcement.
• Participating in admission procedures and orienting patients and families to the unit and program.
• Performing basic patient tasks such as safety rounds, vital signs, blood pressure, specimen collection, accu checks, weighing, and assisting with daily activities.

*Qualifications include:*

• High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or completion of Psychiatric Assistant or Nurse Aide training, or one year of experience in Behavioral Health.
• Certification as a Mental Health Tech is preferred.
