MU Health Care seeks compassionate individuals to join as Mental Health Techs in our Assessment, Adult, or Pediatrics units. You will play a vital role in patient care, reporting behaviors, engaging with patients, and responding to emergencies. Join us to make a difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities include recording patient behaviors, assisting with treatment activities, teaching self-help skills, participating in crisis interventions, performing basic nursing care, and supporting patients' physical and emotional needs. May also escort patients and perform other duties as delegated.
Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course within 180 days, or CNA certification, or relevant patient care experience, or completion of a UAP training program, or nursing licensure candidacy, with specific experience requirements.
Additional licenses or certifications as determined by the department.
Active role requiring ambulation, reaching, lifting over 20 lbs, and contact with contagious illnesses. Rotating shifts, holidays, and weather conditions are involved.
