Mental Health Technician, Part-Time, Days, Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, Cherry Hill

Join Jefferson Health as a Mental Health Technician in the Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Cherry Hill. We are seeking compassionate individuals committed to improving lives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist the RN in delivering patient care and observing behaviors.
2. Report and document changes in patients' mood or behavior promptly.
3. Provide one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed.
4. Maintain a full patient caseload under the supervision of an assigned primary nurse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 12 college credits; a full college degree is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a behavioral health field is preferred.
• One year of experience with behavioral health clients is preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• Trained in PEAT and able to safely schedule and restrain an aggressive patient.
