Responsibilities
  1. Provide routine patient care services under the supervision of a professional nurse. Duties include assisting patients with daily living activities, taking and recording vital signs, facilitating psycho-educational group sessions, and utilizing crisis intervention techniques as needed.
  2. Assist patients with daily living activities such as supervision, laundry, bathing, and toileting.
  3. Conduct patient searches at admission, after passes, or as clinically indicated, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  4. Model healthy interpersonal relationships and demonstrate appropriate behavior for patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 30 days of hire.
