Job summary

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a national leader in behavioral health located in Scottsdale, AZ. We are seeking a Mental Health Technician for full-time day and night shifts to support inpatient and outpatient services for teens, adults and seniors dealing with depression, anxiety and co-occurring disorders.

Under RN supervision, the MHT provides clerical and patient care duties, leads activity groups, and participates in the treatment team to support recovery and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• CNA preferred as an additional credential.
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Manage behavioral problems and facilitate education and activity groups.
• Be an active participant of the treatment team in psychiatric and substance use care.

Description
