Join Our Team as a Mental Health Technician (MHT) - Behavioral Health - PRN, Days

Texas Health Resources is looking for passionate individuals to join our Behavioral Health team at Texas Health Dallas, located at 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231.

Position Details
  • Work hours: PRN, Days; 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Department: Behavioral Health
Department Highlights
  • Busy outpatient clinic with Partial Hospital Programs and Intensive Outpatient Program serving adults with co-occurring behavioral health and chemical dependency needs

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and 1 year of experience, or
  • 1 year of inpatient experience in behavioral health as a MHT, PCT, CNA, or related role (highly preferred)
  • High School Diploma and CNA certification required, or
  • Associate’s degree in healthcare (required), Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
  • Greet and orient patients, review safety procedures, and prepare patients for discharge or transfer
  • Assist with gathering patient belongings and ensuring proper procedures are followed
