Mental Health Technician - Lighthouse

Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated individuals! Help us make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans.

About the Position:

The Mental Health Technician (MHT), under close supervision, provides non-professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient care setting. Responsibilities include participation in de-escalation activities, ensuring consumer safety, role modeling effective problem solving and decision-making skills, and assisting in recreational and therapeutic activities. MHTs verify consumer location every 15 minutes, monitor responses to medications, and record patient information in electronic medical records.

Job Type/Salary:
  • Full-time (10-hour shifts)
  • MHT I: $29,328.20 / $14.10 per hour
  • MHT II: $31,799.00 / $15.29 per hour
  • MHT III: $34,517.00 / $16.59 per hour
  • Additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and inpatient/crisis unit work
  • Compensation range: $39,327.00 - $57,537.00, including base salary, retirement, and benefits, dependent on dependents
  • Primary working hours: 3:30 pm - Midnight and 11:30 pm - 8:00 am
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Qualifications:

No experience or education required. Strong commitment to patient well-being and belief in recovery is essential. Preference may be given to CNA-certified applicants.
