Responsibilities
  • Provide routine patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse, including assisting with daily living activities, recording vital signs, facilitating psycho-educational group sessions, and utilizing crisis intervention techniques as needed.
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as supervision, laundry, bathing, and toileting.
  • Conduct patient searches at admission, after passes, or as clinically indicated, under RN supervision.
  • Model healthy interpersonal relationships and demonstrate appropriate behavior for patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 30 days of hire.
