Behavioral & Mental Care in Ozark, AL seeks a Mental Health Technician II for Dale County Day Treatment. The role supports patients with daily activities, medications, and structured group sessions in a day-treatment setting.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, located at our Dale County Day Treatment. Base pay is $12.00 per hour, with holiday premiums and benefits described in the listing.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Must be 21+ with good MVR
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
• CPR and MAC certification required upon hire
• Experience in mental health or substance abuse setting preferred

• Provide patient care activities to meet personal needs and comfort, including observation, meals, and medication assistance
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Conduct group activities and teach basic leaving skills daily
• Provide transportation for consumers using the facility system vehicle

Mental Health Technician II – Dale County Day Treatment
This position will be located at our Dale County Day Treatment in Ozark, AL

Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Base Pay: $12.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Various patient care activities to meet the personal needs and comfort of the consumers such as observation, serving meals, cleaning of the facility and passing medications as needed
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Conducting group and teaching individual basic leaving skills daily
• Providing transportation for consumers using system vehicle

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be 21 years or older, Good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
