UVA Health System is seeking Mental Health Technicians (MHT) to support assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health disorders. You will work with patients and families, providing counseling, support, and care in an inpatient setting.

Entry-level positions require a high school diploma; CNA/EMT/BLS are preferred. Strong communication, attention to detail and teamwork are essential, with benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Unlicensed: 2 years direct patient care in inpatient psychiatric setting or nursing school first semester.
• Licensure: None required; CNA, AAPT, EMT preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues with therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver counseling and support services to individuals, families and groups.
