Job summary

Centered Health LLC in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Technician to provide rehabilitative support for a co-occurring population. The position requires HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, 1 year in social services, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification (we will cover cost if hired).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the social services field.
• Current valid driver’s license for at least 5 years with a clean DMV record.
• Demonstrates genuine desire to work with the population served.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client Intake/Discharge inventories and document items in EMR.
• Provide line-of-sight supervision to clients during shifts.
• Facilitate educational and support groups and document activities in EMR.
• Complete required trainings to support professional growth.
• Provide crisis intervention services when needed.
• Maintain client safety and participate in daily living activities with clients.
• Prepare and monitor medication self-administration and document in EMR.
• Transport clients to offsite appointments and maintain safe driving record.
• Carry out house chores and help with daily living activities as assigned.
• Communicate with Psych Techs, Therapists, and Program Director to coordinate care.
