Job summary

Lake Behavioral Hospital in Waukegan, IL is hiring a Mental Health Technician (MHT) for evening shifts (3:00pm–11:30pm) with an $800 sign-on bonus. You will work under the RN, provide continuous care, supervise patients, and contribute to a therapeutic environment across age groups.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or CNA certification (or equivalent) and at least one year of related psychiatric care experience. Overtime and flexible hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients through discharge and support life adjustment.
• Help with personal hygiene and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
