Mental Health Technician | Evening Shift | Full-Time | Kansas City, MO

Job Overview

Join University Health Behavioral Health Cadence House Group Home as a Mental Health Technician on our evening shift team! Support adults with mental illness in a safe environment, working Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Engage and Connect: Lead activities promoting confidence and emotional well-being.
  • Teach Life Skills: Guide residents in cooking, cleaning, symptom management, and problem-solving.
  • Provide Support: Assist with outings, medication administration (training provided), and maintaining a recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Family Care Registry clearance
  • Completion of required training

Preferred qualifications include experience in patient care and mental health settings.
