Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking a Psychiatric Technician Level 1 to join a tight-knit team delivering compassionate care to clients with mental illness or developmental delays. You will operate under supervision, support safety and milieu management, and contribute to care plans in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires onsite work, potential weekend/holiday hours, and involvement in documentation and basic office duties. Training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a minimum of six months post high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent is preferred.
• CNA certification or one to two years of college education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate in day-to-day planning and development of person served programming.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed.
• Participate in safety management, crisis intervention and prevention, including monitoring and de-escalation.
• Document progress notes, medication administration, and other relevant information per policies.
• Support recovery-focused environment and person-centered care.

Education

Six months post high school education in behavioral sciences
