Job summary

Beachside Teen Treatment Center in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to provide rehabilitative support to a co-occurring population, under guidance from the Clinical and Program Directors.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, and at least 1 year in social services. You will document in EMR, supervise clients, lead groups, transport to appointments, and maintain medication and activity logs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
• First aid certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the social services field.
• Current driver’s license, current auto insurance and clean DMV report.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake/discharge inventories and document in EMR.
• Provide line of sight supervision to clients during shifts.
• Facilitate educational and support groups and document in EMR.
• Complete required trainings in a timely fashion.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and warranted.
• Transport clients to offsite appointments as assigned.
• Document daily activities and behavior in EMR.
• Maintain medication logs and ensure safety protocols.
