Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a compassionate part-time caregiver to support clients in Claremore, OK. Duties include supervising clients, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring safety during shifts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prefer one-year experience in a mental health setting.
Individuals may be required to obtain Oklahoma Class B CDL with P and S Endorsements with airbrakes.

Responsibilities

Record client’s food/fluid intake and report changes to the shift supervisor.
Report accidents, incidents, and safety violations to the shift supervisor with documentation.
Provide ongoing supervision of clients and document activity every fifteen minutes.
Assist in physical restraint of clients if needed for protection.
Assist in daily laundry tasks and keep client areas clean and organized.
Maintain personal hygiene, sanitize client rooms, and clean floors, bathrooms, and fixtures daily.
Store client possessions properly and ensure hands are washed before serving food.
Provide transportation in agency vehicles and maintain fuel for vehicles.
Participate in staff meetings; attend all required job-related travel and evaluations.
